Rachael “RJ” James is a Pittsburgh, PA native but is currently residing in the Midwest. She is a ride or die Steeler girl and Golden State Warrior fan.  She loves all things travel and loves being near the water and the beach.

RJ has always loved to travel since she was a kid.  The memories of traveling with her parents and siblings when she was younger is one of the reasons travel has become such an important part of her life.  While cruising has been her main way of travel over the years, she enjoys flying to her destination more.  Being able to immerse herself in the surroundings, the culture, and the beauty of the people of her destinations, is why she is so passionate about traveling.  Her favorite place of all time is Jamaica.  While some may see that as an “overrated” destination, RJ has a true sense of calmness and peace when she is there.

Over the years and through her travels, RJ would share her experiences and photos with others which led to them reaching out to her to plan vacations for them and their families.  She would take her time and curate itineraries that were relaxing with a mixture of adventure and fun.  By the time they’d return from their trips, they were ready to plan another.  The feedback she would get was great and it encouraged her to step out on faith and start her own travel business.  In June 2019, En Point Travel was born.

RJ’s belief is that anyone can “plan” a trip, but it takes knowledge and expertise to curate and create an experience for a travel client. She takes the time to learn her clients travel style.  RJ specializes in curating vacations that are detailed which includes selecting accommodations, restaurants and excursions and creating the perfect trip based on the client’s individualized interest.

In order to provide the best service and experience for her clients, RJ prides herself on staying up to date with the latest travel trends, destinations, and requirements. She also takes advantage of all the education opportunities provided by some of the top travel suppliers in the world.  The travel world changes every day, which is also why she has become an expert and is certified in countries such as Jamaica, Dubai, Bali. Mexico, Ghana and most recently Egypt. State side she is a certified agent for Disney, Universal Studio, and all things Orlando.  She is also certified in the most popular cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean, Azamara, MSC, Carnival and the all-adult line Virgin Voyages.  And lets not forget some of the best hotels and resorts in the world such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and Preferred.  Resorts such as RIU, Iberostar, Haven Cancun, Sandals, and AMR Collection by Hyatt to name a few.
